Welcome to Huntsville ISD EXCEL Center!

The Excel Center is a Special Education Program serving Huntsville Independent School District K-8 campuses. This program is specifically designed for students identified as living with an emotional disturbance who have been unsuccessful at their home campus.  We provide a structured predictable environment to remediate academics, teach replacement behaviors, and  work with the student's homecampus to provide the support necessary for the student to be successful ontheir home campus.

 Our Mission:

The caring staff of the Excel Center serves all HISD schools along with students, parents, and the community.  We teach replacement behaviors, target academic deficits,   implement consequences and rewards through a structured, predictable environment.  Our job is to prepare students to return to their home campus and continue their work to achieve lifelong success.
